Artificial Intelligence Designing Quantum Experiments

The link is to an article reporting on efforts to use AI to design experiments in QM that human physicists might otherwise miss, due to the counter-intuitive features of QM, such as superposition and entanglement.

While it is a layman's level article, light reading for those who frequent this site, the underlying idea is interesting. Further developments in this field may lead to scientific analyses for which the human brain is not intrinsically suited, and might otherwise never have pursued.

Food for thought.
